Well known for the Havelock Country Jamboree also has a permanent population of 4,500 and a sessional populations of 6,200.
Township of North Kawartha is a located midway between The City of Peterborough and the Town of Bancroft which both offer all the amenities of larger urban centres. Within the township are smaller urbanized areas such as Apsley and Burleigh Falls. Year round population of 2,809 and seasonal residents of 12,000.
